I just found another hidden gem in the worlds most Iconic city, living here in San Francisco, you can find anything and everything. But there are some that are a diamond in the rough. This restaurant was amazing in all aspects, fast service, fast arrival of food, and quality is beyond 5 star. This just hits the spot! I can’t emphasize how many times I’ve driven past by this hidden restaurant, the name is sketchy cause it looks like a grocery store, then looks like a restaurant, but it’s both. All in all, I recommend anyone visiting or living here to this place, I’ll definitely be returning.
I come to SF often for business. I try to come here whenever I'm in the area and have time for a meal.I grew up in Mumbai, so I scour for vada pav in various cities. This place does it well. The pav isn't authentic, and it was served squished last time, but I don't really care. Gulab jamun was excellent too would recommend!Vegetarian options: Indian food tends to be vegetarian and vegan friendly. I haven't looked too closely at their menu, but I wouldn't be surprised if half of it happens to be vegetarian.
Very bad experience. We ordered ‘Keema Paav’. They microwave the pav where it is suppose to be toasted on tawa with butter. We sent it back and requested to bring toasted paav. Blue Tshirt guy from inside the kitchen is looking at our table soo wierd and sent the same microwaved paav again. Chicken biryani was another disaster. Lot of chaat masala (or some salted masala) flavors in Biryani and chicken curry.u
I write the review after a week trip to sf. it was probably the most pleasant meal I had during my stay. on the menu there were at least one side of vegan/vegetarian options. I ordered a baby corn combo that for a few extra dollars added quite a lot of dinge. the food was good and the price was okay considering how big it was.

DONT ORDER BIRYANI and DOSA. Its worst than the reviews if you have it. Its like DAL mein paani daal ke diye. Chicken biryani is STALE. its just for the name sake called BIRYANI. they made veg pulao and added chicken in it. Which is laughable and a MOCKERY of south Indian cuisine.

I've loved this place for many years. I lived one because in india and the chaat street food here is the best in sf in my humble opinion. the service is not frills and the small food business makes fun to inspect.
I ordered kadhai paneer combo. Naan not cooked properly and daal smells not good . Paneer is below the the average overall experience was not good . Just give 2 star for their clean restroom

that's my second time eating in chaat corner. I appreciate and like that eating is well presented and delicious. the staff is friendly and fast and the facility is immaculately clean.
