Located towards the end of the Vallons Les Enverses pistes near the foot of La Masse, Chalet de La Masse struck us as being slightly off the beaten track by being on the quieter side of the Les Menuires valley. It also struck us being one of the older establishments with a traditional charm. We hadn't booked for lunch, it's not a huge place, but we were found a table and our order was quickly taken. We arrived from 21 to 27 aot, the station was about to close the summer, so many restaurants and shops. you have a great choice of hikes (but do not pay attention to the hikers we have often asked or go. station information is multiple and gnralis. information should be refocused with pedestre trails without forcment of mcanic baliss and corresponding flyers, dtaills shuttle times per shuttle and for example by stop. the cottage is located at the bottom of the runway, but the sunlight has nothing to envy to that of the largest infrastructures of the summits. The boss is very nice and takes time to exchange with his clients. The map is perfect for small and larger hungers. ratio quality price unbeatable for the station. If you fall on the day of lasagna, don't hesitate, it is worth many Italians. We had to fall on the day of the marmot because we had dinner there (like good Belgians) three times in a row.
not enough staff?this morning impossible to get used to the bar! and the server that had work was just nice. I'll make orders. This without ever paying attention to the 5 or 6 people who were waiting there.To always want to win more by saving on the staff one ends up discouraging the customer. 3 of us visited this restaurant on a few occasions while skiing in the area. The service is first class, the staff friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent, hot and well cooked and served in a timely fashion. I would personally recommend the omelettes! The prices gave good value for money. I would suggest a visit here anytime.
Had a really nice meal here. We both had salads which were great! We saw the other food coming out and that looked equally as good. Very reasonably priced, plat du jour was €12. The view from the terrace is stunning, we sat there for ages. Would definite recommend and we will go back again
this restaurant deserves the small half hour of ascent required to access it especially when it is beautiful. the view of the station is magnificent and the dishes served quickly and carefully by the couple of very friendly managers. Moreover the prices are quite correct.
small inn in the mountain or stopping for lunch is a real pleasure, the staff is very friendly and the dishes are simple but very good, at reasonable prices for the mountain.
