Lovely restaurant, lots of charm (especially inside and a fab spot in the sunshine if you sit outside. Three plats du jour were enjoyed this week. Casserole of merguez sausages was especially tasty. Puddings looked amazing (but we were too full to order one. My favourite part was that I went ahead at 11:30 to secure a table for 16 at 11:45 (we’ve worked out this is a great time to eat as by then time you are finished, the lifts are quiet my 12 year old son and I arrived and within 2 minutes, our waiter had brought over a beer and a hot chocolate with cream which I hadn’t even ordered he’d just remembered us from the day before. At the bottom of two chair lifts on the route between Flaine and Les Carroz but also close to the road you can either drive or ski here. Food and service was good and whilst food is never going to be cheap on a ski slope this was perfectly acceptable prices. Hot dogs, chips and steak hache all good and plentiful.
This is what mountain lunches are all about.A characterful wood chalet,attractive bar and wonderful aromas emerging from the kitchen to greet you. Good confit of duck with a peppery sauce but the tartiflette was the standout. Great !
Fast, friendly service. Delicious special of braised cabbage and pork and garlic sausage. Steak hache also good. Decent portions. Would recommend arriving early for lunch to get a table.
