My husband and I were excited to try the mozzarella sticks at this restaurant, as we have enjoyed them in the past. However, we were disappointed by the new mozzarella sticks and sauce. They tasted like they had been frozen and reheated, unlike the freshly made ones we had previously. On a positive note, we enjoyed the wings, subs, and lemonades at this restaurant.
I ordered a sandwich with extra ranch, but they only put a small amount of ranch and meat on it. I paid extra for the ranch, but it was disappointing. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again. I specifically asked for no mayo and pickles, but my cheesesteak ended up plain.
Terrible experience. The service is dependent on the employees' mood. I was initially told a side of BBQ sauce would cost $0.50, but they charged me $0.84 instead. The sub was smaller than the pomme frites. I never had any issues with Charley's until this restaurant opened.
I would not recommend Charley's Cheese Bread for their cheesesteak, as the meat lacks flavor. This was the worst cheesesteak I have ever had, even worse than the one from Subway. It seems like in PG County, good food goes to die.
