we had the set menu for four people, the $75 with a selection of two meals from the list with rice, steamed with oyster sauce as standard suppe is an extra $5 for the table that is good, but we knew only over this half away through the meal. I would like to have rounded the meal up to $80 and the suppe in there and has just served it now we have decided for the Fried-Bohnen-Curd, mushrooms and sweet. all components were very nice and fresh and not greasy the damped fish belt was the other and cook steamed. it was tender in the middle and the flesh came from the bone. that 90% of the plate is given in relation to the right ones. the soße was very light, with a...more

suprisingly bad quality eating in a favorable location. worth a visit if you want 1. Stale products. the gurk discs that accompanied the peking ente were dry and shoved. they looked two weeks old and never left the kitchen. the green side-around that came with the rice dish was past its durability and should not be served. the rice itself was a bit dry and hard. for an authentic Chinese restaurant this is unacceptable 2. the feeling of unevenness. the walls had a dust layer that gave the impression, no one was worried to wipe it off in months. some of the dishes and tellers had dark spots inside and should have been replaced a long time ago....read more

Like its name suggests, the roast and BBQ meats are the specialty at Chatswood BBQ. When we arrived for a late dinner, most of the BBQ roast meats had run out. Only the soy chicken was left and luckily, it was tender and moist. Top marks for this delicious chook. We also shared the salt and pepper squid and some green vegetables for a balanced meal. Along with some rice, we also ordered a bowl of plain scallion noodles. I'd recommend skipping the clumpy noodles. In short, Chatswood BBQ is your average neighborhood joint the food may not be fantastic nor Insta-worthy but it's good for a cheap (for the north shore) and cheerful meal.

I wanted to have a tontop-free, so was advised and patiently waited 20 minutes. the pork ribs in black buoyant sauce were absolutely divine and soft and tasty. the reis was not yet so beautiful crispy texture. there were many people in and out, so maybe they have other better dishes to try it next time.
