I travel all over the state of Texas. And with that being said, I have visited many restaurants of many different types of cuisine. And usually the food is either all right or one or two parts of the meal is pretty good and the rest is not all that great. However, this evening I ate at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in Port Arthur, Tx. And I had the best meal that I've had in a VERY LONG TIME! Very fine dining experience. As soon as we walked in I was impressed by the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Very clean and organized. We were led to our seat and our server (January) was very polite and friendly. Our drinks and appetizers were served promptly and the food came out great. I ordered the steak and it was by all accounts a good steak. Multiple times during the visit we had servers check up on us to make sure everything was going fine so we never had to wonder where our server went. All in all, a wonderful evening.
We came here for my daughter's birthday. Asked for a table for 20 ppl and they put us at the back of restaurant at several different booths. Ordered a frozen strawberry Margarita it was watered down and nasty. Tasted like chemicals. The food was just okay. Our waitress was wonderful and handled all of us very well. The sad part is they don't allow them to add gratuity to any of their tickets. They should really change that seriously for the staff!!
Was the first time I jad ever ate there and was absolutely thrilled with the food I received. If I could give more stars I would. Everything about this place was good. They are super friendly and attentive, make amazing food and the place is really clean. Will definitely be going back and I highly recommend the pot pie and the broccoli rice and cheese...

My son John's best friend works here. He treated our family for dinner and it was delicious. We had a great time and waitress Maria was very nice and attentive. The ceiling paddle fan is an amazing touch. Definitely the best Cheddars! Very recommended!! Food: 5/5
I had an issue with the location in Beaumont, Texas and I was not satisfied. I said that I would night dine there again. I went to the location in Port Arthur, Texas and everything was exceptional!!!! It's a 22 mile drive from my house but it was well worth it

Always love dining here, your coconut shrimp is better than anywhere else! I love it and hope you keep it on the menu. My whole family loves this restaurant and we have our special occasions here.

Very friendly service, food was excellent. Dessert was more than enough for 2! We couldn't even finish it but it was very delicious!
