This place is a hidden gem! We went there with a voucher for a three course meal with drinks for two. I initially thought it would be like a cafe but the service and food was on another level I'd say equal if not better than some of the hatted restaurants we've been to. The Chefs walk around in white French style jackets, I swear it just made the food taste even better and reassured me that this place was HYGIENIC and PROFESSIONAL. I have been to the Strathfield store a few months ago and last night when my friend told me there is also a store at Eastwood, we decided to have a try today. <br/ <br/ It was great that there were not many customers so we did not need to wait but then it was a bit of worry for me because I worried the food may not be as good. But it turned out that I should not worry : <br/ <br/ We ordered baked eggs, king salmon omelette, cappuccino and filter coffee. For dessert we had soufflé of the day (raspberry . I like this cafe. When I choose a cafe i not only look at the food and drink selection but also the ambience and how loud it is. I can definitely say it tickes all the boxes for me. <br/ <br/ With a good selection of drinks and pastries to choose from, the ambience is great, especially in a night time setting. It's not too bright which I like and the music selection is 1 word: awesome. Cafe staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (alcohol available and is very spacious upstairs. We got to try the confit Ora king salmon (5/5 , Chef’s palette (4/5 and the brekkie burger. Food quality was made with professional culinary skills, fresh produce and overall exceptional! Lovely atmosphere at night, their coffee is very nice. And the Mocha layered cake is very very nice but mind you also a lot of calories. Service is good, the waitress looked after us well. People gathering there are also quite quiet and it’s definitely a place for catchup with friends. Highly recommended.
Dinner at Chefs Palette Eastwood is terrific for what you have to pay. The cooking is high quality simple but flavoursome and the chef is very personable. The service is good too. It’s a nice surprise as you don’t expect that quality in a “local”.
I had a delicious Alaskan king crab omelette with Sonoma grilled sourdough and coffee for brunch. The omelette was filled with crab flesh, it was moist and tasty, very nice! Very friendly service. Will be back to try other items on the menu.

The drinks here are always consistently good. I love the matcha crepe cake. The cream is fluffy and slightly sweet. Haven't tried the food yet!
