Used to be cash only.Now they add one more way to digital pay Zelle .My husband like Chicken Pie so much, and I also think it 's very good.Recently bring a friend over, they are giving out pretty shoppng bad if you buy a lot.And I also get a $5 coupon.For a traditional Chinese bakery, I am impressive by the Zelle digital payment move the way they did marketing to bring guests back even more they are on Gubhub.One of the Ocean Ave local gem.
I was walking on ocean Ave and saw this bakery, and decided to try it out. It was super busy on a Saturday afternoon. Good sign right? Maybe not.... Service was mediocre at best, they rushed you and made you feel very pressured to order stuff. We picked a few items to try. Everything tasted fine, nothing stood out as amazing. But one thing that did make me decide not to go back is that I found egg shell in their sponge cake. No thank you.
Don't let the ordinariness of this place deceive you. The pastries there are amazing. You can't find bbq pork bun in any fancy western-style bakery shop. The food here is cheap and very high quality. I am a bit disappointed on the mango flavor cake, but the rest of items, basically all buns and Chinese style bakeries, are beyond what you can expect from the price you paid. I definitely will visit the shop again!
The 3 to 5 years old kids love the quarter sheet fresh fruit shortcake with drawing of a fire truck. The charge for decorating the cake is reasonably affordable when compare to two other businesses we have contacted. The cake was ready on time for pick up as requested. I found this little bakery on Ocean Ave and very happily discovered that they have lots of yummy things, nice service, and inexpensive prices. After doing some serious experiential research, I've determined that I especially love their red bean-sesame pastry. It's outstanding!
I have visited two Cherry Blossom Bakery locations so far. One of the locations is on Clement Street. My favorite items at Cherry Blossom Bakery are the Coconut Bun, Chicken Pie, and hot dog bun. If you enjoy these items, I highly recommend visiting this bakery.
