Chester Hill - Table reservation

I went to this place on a Sunday to get takeaway alcohol, which should have been till 10 they said it shut at 9:35I was told a false closing time and a security guard pushed me away I was not aggressiveI called after asking about what time they close takeaway alcohol on a Sunday night and she said until closingThen I said I wanted to speak to the manager and that I came within the time frame beforeAnd she hung up on me and said the manager was busy which was an excuseThe staff are rude and untrustworthyBad customer service and they touch you without your permission without any aggregation from your side

Visited twice in a weekHad crab oysters and scallops...excellent and I rarely rate food that highly...nowcto the bad partReturned last Saturday for lunch and decided on a tone steakIt annoys the hell out of me when I order t bone and get sirloinThey are not the same...But that was a minor issue compared to the flavourNever in my life have I had steak that tasted like fish...horrible and only edible when smothered with mushroom sauce and a mouthful of saladSo I had fried sirloin that tasted like fish. Never again will I eat steak from their bistro

I went there for lunch with a friend after not having been there for many years. Though there's nothing actually wrong with the place, the food and service were of an acceptable standard, but there's a fine line between clean and sterile. This pub has crossed that line and lost any sense of character. If I'm in Chester Hill for lunch again I'll be going to one of the other nice eateries on the main Street rather than the pub.

The room had a bad smell. Not as good for a nightcap as the one I stayed in Geelong.

Check their toilets so disgusting, their pokies are complete rip off
