I've always enjoyed Chevys. Over the years, and I am talking from the 1980's, they've been consistent, good and worth what you paid for. This visit was a disappointment. The Cadillac margarita, guacamole, chips and salsa were delicious! Then came the chicken fajitas on the sizzling platter. The chicken was dry and tasteless, the veggies were limp and puny. But all were sizzling! The whole beans were good, the rice super salty, and the little scoop of corn tasted dry and stale. The flour tortillas were hot and good. The service was par for a busy restaurant. We were seated in the bar which was noisy and chilly every time the door opened. Eh. Yeah. I was disappointed. ?
Wow, I can't believe it... a real Fresh Choice. Just like the good old days. After Sweet Tomatoes shut down, where is one to go for this kind of healthy and delicious buffet. Well it looks like you have to go to Gilroy. We drove from San Jose to travel back in time and we were not disappointed. Lots of fresh salad choices. Potato salad was yummy. Sesame noodles great. Yummy ice cream. Loved the pizza. And don't forget the baked potato. The Clean up crew keeps the place tidy. Come and patronize this place. We don't want it to disappear.
We drove about 25 mins for my wife?s birthday, we have fond memories at Chevys, but wow, things have gone down hill. The waiting for food and drinks is one think but then to wait for tortillas that were not even usable? Steak is over cooked. Food got cold waiting for simple items that were asked for when we ordered. Such a poor experience we left before birthday dessert. Will be looking for a different birthday spot.
I can never get tired eating dinner here. Sandra and Angela they are an amazing waitresses, they always takes good care of every single customer eating at Chevy and listen very carefully about customers needs always attentive respectful and always with a smile. Food delicious love come to see these lovely ladies. Chevys should be thankful to have these ladies as waiters

Our server Daniel R provided wonderful customer service! He was quick and attentive. He always kept checking in with us to make sure we were enjoying our meal and if we wanted to order additional items on the menu.
Stopped in for an impromptu date night and sat at the bar. Daniel was our server and he was amazing!! The food was great and fast and the drinks were plentiful and just what we needed. We will definitely be back!
Visited during their 36th Anniversary week. Special was 36 cent tacos. ? A very lively atmosphere. They brought in a DJ. I enjoyed a few Tacos and Margaritas..not a bad way to wind down. Nice staff!
The food at this restaurant is extremely delicious and the cocktails are spectacular. Daniel is the best!
