my favorite restaurant, if I stay at my parents in saarbrücken, is cafe wagner, as we call it. be not amazed at the fact that there is no menu or that it is loud, it is a real authentic feeling that they will get once... decide to enter the atmosphere they will absolutely love. order them froschbeine and cruditee as snacks, before they are directly lammed (damaging or even better not called haw (mistkratzerl . no fear of the patron of this little island he is very open to speak when they try it once. Heut Mittag dort das Tagesmenu gegessen: Pate, boeuf bourguignon, Käseteller! Fantastisches Preis Leistungsverhaeltnis, gute Qualität, freundlicher Patron, fröhliche Gaeste! Es haette auch Froschschenkel gegeben und mistkratzerle, sah auch klasse aus! Guter Wein, ein letztes Glas gabs umsonst! Zum Eis wurde eine Flasche Grand marnier auf den Tisch gestellt! Wir kommen bald wieder!
soouo nice here, very cozy and really great eating. the appetizer plate is really excellent, and all that follows also(possibly a small improvement in dessert selection). the owner couple is extremely friendly and you realize that the hospitable is really desired and that the two follow their profession with passion. we are coming back soon
Nothing has changed here in the last 40 years...and that's a good thing. There is no room for chic here, it is down to earth, which has not affected the quality for many decades. Friendly service with your heart on your sleeve Frog legs and dung scrapers comme il faut.

Einfach und rustikal aber Top Speisen. Es gibt keine Speisekarte, der Wirt sagt was er hat. Dazu gehören Schnecken, Froschschenkel und ein erstklassiges Steak. Weitere Speisen gab es auch aber uns gefiel diese Auswahl. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
Die Froschschenkel sind der Hammer. Aber alles andere ist auch sehr lecker. Egal ob Salat, Hähnchen oder Lamm. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Man sollte am besten vorbestellen, oder frühzeitig da sein.
