The interior of this place is like a really cool second hand shop this I loved! The food is very good. This place is essentially a good find I would certainly go back! However, you need to be prepared for a few...things when you go in order to have a good time; The service is unashamedly cheeky French style (you ask if you can have something and they joke that there is none left then say of course you can have it type thing). if you arrive early take a drink but don't expect to be called to your table you have to fend for yourself here (not for the faint hearted but fun nonetheless Finally, if you expect to be asked if your meal is ok or if you need any sauces etc then you may be disappointe...
After disembarking, keep walking to escape the crowds. Look for the orange umbrellas and you're ready for lunch. There is dining, both inside and out, by why eat inside when one can sit on a barge floating (depending on the tide) in the Gulf of...Morbihan. It's mostly seafood, but what a selection. The risotto along with the clams (with butter and garlic) make for great starters. The squid brochette is enough for two. And the list goes on and on. There's also dessert, but only if you have room.
When we arrived we got greeted by an impolite and disrespectful waiter. We had to tell him to stop his attitude and after an argument he became really pleasant. The food and the quality was quite good. Sitting on a boat in a restaurant made...it great to eat a meal after sailing. We had fun and left happy with the waiter being very nice. Don’t let the waiter be DISRESPECTFUL!!
With the reviews averaging around stars, I wasn't sure what to expect here but absolutely loved it and came back the next night as well! Good food, good service and a very characterful room with sea view. The owner was very friendly and made...our family feel welcome. What more could you want??! Would definitely return.

The atmosphere was very French and very friendly. A bit like eating in a Junk shop, with beams held up with rusty sockets, but the food was lovely, and we so enjoyed being there. This was (surprisingly) a highlight of our holiday. Just don't sit...too close to the exposed wiring in the rusty wall-socket!

Being the only eatery open down at Le Port we chose Charlemagne and were not disappointed. Amiable waiter and good chef made for a very good early evening meal. Moules Frites, Gambas in Whisky, Creme Brûlée, drinks coffee for Trés...Bon!

Not a bad little eatery serving Sardines which we enjoyed as they were so fresh. Not going to say that this is a gourmet restaurant but good for a lunch time light meal. We ate lunch on what was a floating barge.
Don’t like customers. We wanted to eat at pm but got rejected by a very disrespectful waiter... Best to go anywhere else.
