We hadn't dined here in years, but we decided to pay a visit again. The café has transformed into a chic little bistro, and it has been beautifully updated. My husband and I made a reservation for last night, which is essential, and we were pleased to get a table in our preferred spot. The service was wonderfully attentive. We chatted with the chef and his wife as we waited for our table, and she told us about their impressive yet reasonably priced wine list. We selected some of our old favorites: I had foie gras and chicken in Dijon sauce with mushrooms, while my husband started with steamed asparagus and enjoyed beautiful lamb chops as his main course. It was sensational. For dessert, we s...

We made a reservation for an outdoor table and arrived to find a beautifully decorated setting awaiting us. It quickly became clear that this restaurant has a unique charm. The interior is cozy, and everything feels authentically French, from the wall art to the extensive wine selection. Each dish we tried was not only beautifully presented but also delicious. The meticulous attention to detail truly sets this restaurant apart. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!

This is such a quaint and cozy bistro. Quiet atmosphere—perfect for catching up with friends. I had the French onion soup, the fois gras dish, and a crepe for dessert. Everything was tasty and perfectly proportioned (unless you are only used to American restaurants with massive dishes). My only complaint is that there was an odd smell in the restaurant, but my friend who had been there before assured me that this was not usual for the place.

We made our reservations for outside and arrived to a beautifully set table out front. It was clear early on that this restaurant has a very special feel to it. The inside is comforting and everything is authentically French- from the wall paintings to the thorough wine menu. All the food served looked exquisite and tasted so, too. The attention to detail is what makes this restaurant a stand out. Very enjoyable dining experience! Book a table now

Authentic French cuisine, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. The portions are generous, and the food truly reflects the quality and authenticity you'd expect in France. Everything is made in-house. Colette suggested a fantastic wine pairing to complement our meal. Highly recommended; it's a real gem of a restaurant. We will definitely return.

Beyond words. I've never used this word to describe a restaurant before but it fits: magical. The food, the friendly service, everything. Even the prices are affordable compared to other French restaurants! Just amazing. If you want a Real French Dinner, eat here. If you are reading this--just eat here. You'll see. We're definitely coming back!!!

This was our third visit to Chez Colette's French Bistro, and it has quickly become our favorite French restaurant. The food is always fresh and perfectly cooked, and the service is excellent without making us feel rushed. During our visit last Friday night, we discovered a wonderful new wine called Chateau Malescasse.

That was one of my best experiences in such a restaurant and my first French cuisine. The ambience, taste and attitude of the cook to his food deserve much praise. I have also tried many new flavors and enjoyed it immensely. Overall, I visited one of my favorite restaurants. Book a table now

Outside of Burgundy, one of the best French experiences we have ever had. Really authentic, very attentive, along with a fantastic wine list. If you are ever in Belleair Bluff/Clearwater/Tampa/St. Pete, Chez Collette is highly recommended.
