Getting busy , middle season , a very hot day and folks were piling in here. We werewarned service might be slow on account of this influx but we were pleased we waited. Food was regional eg salade de gesiers , lovely presentation), very local ... Axoa beautiful finely chopped veal cooked with local peppers, a real treat) plus 3 slices of sheep cheese with a nice dollop of cherry I think) jam .... those 3 dishes for Eur 20 ...great value ! Good carafe wine...nice gateau basque , suoer big special salad with goats cheeese and local ham.....carafe upon carafe of chilled water brought to offset the heat ...it was well in to the 90s.....coffee good too. Une addresse a recommanedr!!
