We were drawn by the quirky exterior whilst driving through the village for some lunch, we had the 12.50 euro 3 course menu. We liked William the brave veteran cat who sat on the kerb watching the world go by near-by . Hadn't realised it was vegetarian, but we had tasty home-made food with thoughtful little touches and were looked after kindly and attentively. Good value for this area, noticed just a quiche and salad up in the square for 9.90 euros. Didn't stop for a hot drink, looked a bit overpriced, strangely, but would certainly recommend, thank you!!

We had a cup of instant coffee (which they called a crème) and a pot of tea. We asked for two scones and were brought four of the smallest I have ever seen laden with sickly jam and a pot of cream which was sprayed out of a can. The scones were heavy and not properly cooked (probably microwaved). The bill was written on a scrap of paper from a notebook and we were horrified to see it amounted to E17.60. As a former reviewer said it was the worst of British . I am ashamed on their behalf but I don 't think they care one jot.

Absolutely Terrible. Stopped in for coffee and some pastries. The place is full of junk intended to look quirky, but coming across as creepy. The coffee was bad quality instant with weird chemical foamer. Patissieres were store bought buns, about a few euro 's worth. The total for this for four people came to an astonishing and disgraceful €32.80 ! Stay well away from this place !

Wonderful, quaint little tea shop at the side of the Abbey. Interesting bric-à-brac for sale, packed into the tiny space. Recommend a visit in a spare afternoon moment. Also a boutique hotel.
