My experiences for meals in Atlantic Highlands hasn't been stellar for sure. That streak ended today at Chiafullo's. I opted for a buffalo chicken wrap because the stromboli game in the area has been sub par. I don't even regret it because the wrap was fantastic! I can't tell you how happy I was to see a handful of chips thrown in. There was no way I was paying $2.50 for a little bag of chips and you need something to breakup the flavors sometimes. It was just the right amount. The only downside is now the next time I'm in the area I have to get a stromboli because that's the true litmus test for me. The service at this restaurant was lacking. It seemed like they were only interested in taking our orders. When our pizza arrived, there were no racks to keep it off the table. We asked for a spatula to serve the pizza, but they insisted on using their hands. The daily special was a beet salad, priced at $13 for just 5 slices of beets. The garlic bread was served cold and although the cheese was good, there was too much garlic on it. I was so disappointed that I didn't even bother to order dessert. My wife's pizza was average, but the Kennedy calamari was the standout dish, perfectly crispy with just the right amount of cherry pepper. Overall, this restaurant fell short of expectations.
this is my first assessment. this restaurant was an integral part of bringing us through sand when we had no kitchen. after that I ordered there and it was best moderate. Well, that's all changed. everything was so good. piccata perfectly seasoned. the garlic knots were amazing. I have no worries about vampire. the kerl, who took orders, was crazy about eating and the menu. the pizza had these cool blows that are my favorite part. In summary, I will probably order 2-3 x per week.
The quality has declined at this restaurant. I expected a decent meal for $60 for take-out, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, but it became overly dry and rough when it turned golden brown. This restaurant used to be above average for a pizzeria/Italian restaurant, but now it has become just an average option. I hope they can improve and bring back the passion for their food.

Chiafulos is a must-visit restaurant in Atlantic Highlands. Their coconut chicken salad is my go-to dish, and I haven't found anything that can beat it, even after trying coconut chicken salads from different places around the globe. I can't imagine not having this place in my life.
The pizza and food at this restaurant are exceptional! It is definitely worth the drive, even if you are coming from far away. Every dish is delicious and the staff/owners are incredibly friendly.
This food was so good the customer service was very good I will definitely be a regular from now on thank you guys for the great food and service
