We are staying in a nearby caravan park. We looked for somewhere to eat, not a huge choice on Monifieth High Street, but we like thai food so decided to try it. We are SO glad we did! The gentleman who welcomed us in found us a table even though we weren't booked in. He came and chatted with us before our meal arrived and was lovely and friendly. Visited for the first time tonight. The whole experience was wonderful. Service was professional and friendly, decor lovely and the food experience first class. All of our dishes were excellent especially our mains of Thai green curry and chicken with veg/cashew nuts accompanied by noodles and coconut rice. STUNNING. Toilets are spotless. We will be returning very soon. Highly recommended.
I have avoided the Thai restaurant in Monifieth for over 20 years due to my dislike of spicy food curries. However, I finally decided to give it a try and I am blown away by what I have been missing. The food was amazing, the staff were attentive but not overly so, and the restaurant had a delightful charm with great food options. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I called ahead and made a reservation for early evening. The reception was pleasant and we were shown to a nice table by the window. The menu had a good selection and the staff offered plenty of advice if we were unsure. When our food arrived, we couldn't fault anything and it was easy to see why this restaurant is highly rated.

Absolutely delighted to have found Chiang Mai restaurant. We had a fantastic meal for two there. The hot and sour seafood soup was amazing. Attentive and helpful service. Will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.
Stayed nearby for a few days and saw the TA reviews, managed to book a table for 7pm, and the place was quickly full. Not a huge menu but very tasty, best Green Curry I've had in a long time.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the prices. The Penang chicken was particularly delicious. I highly recommend this place.
