I frequently come here for lunch since it's close to work. I come back because they have a good mix of sandwiches and burgers. I have had the burger 10 times and a few of the sandwiches. I personally enjoy the messy and greasy burgers as opposed to something small or artisan. It's good old-fashioned burgers. They give you are large serving of fries too. They also have beer but can't usually partake. I wasn't a fan of the cheese-chicken sandwich or their gyro and there are just better options elsewhere. Staff is awesome and friendly and try to get to know you.
Chanced upon this place and the food was very good. They changed their name to Chicago's Umpires Grill. Moderately priced with $7 $10 entrees. We had the Harry Carey Turkey Sandwich w/Gouda Cheese and Chicago Beef Dip. They were big sandwiches stacked with lots of meat. The Garlic Fries are awesome. The Onion Rings were just right. There was more food than we could eat. For the neighborhood, it is a great place to eat relax.
I go to Chicago 's with my parents every chance we get, and I love it there! It 's absolutely one of my favorite places! The food is amazing, the service is quick, and everyone there knows our names! everything comes out as ordered, as fast as possible. I 've seen some reviews like The food was terrible , they didn 't get to me on the phone So what? they 're human too, they 're allowed to make mistakes.
This place is amazing! The homemade frits are soooo good... hot and cold sandwiches also. Of course, the meats are fresh and tasty, but they actually make some quite incredible veggie sandwiches!! Large selection of breads and of course... The staff is always super friendly and service is fast. Love this place!
