I was in the Oakley, Ohio Target when we evacuated for an active shooter situation and I, and many others, took shelter over three hours in the Oakley Chick-fil-A across the street. Considering this all went down from 12:45 to 4pm, during a busy time, the staff and management at Chick-fil-A were terrific. They were extremely concerned for our welfare and safety during this time. They continually checked on each and every one of those involved and offered us drinks and sandwiches. Their staff went above and beyond and I can’t say enough about them. This is, without a doubt, the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. There was a complete lack of respect for customers. I asked for no pickles and no lettuce, but when I received my order, it was incorrect. When I approached the employee at the register, I was told they couldn't fix it without charging me, despite my receipt clearly stating my preferences. To make matters worse, the manager was extremely rude and insisted that the order was made correctly, even though the sandwich was right in front of him and, clearly, not made according to my request.
Update: I haven’t been here in 5 months and something great has happened here! I got my order taken by Imani she was upbeat and very polite! The food was fresh and good, which is the usual for this location but the customer service was SO much better! Giving 3 more stars to this location, thanks Imani for making this a overall great Chick-fil-A experience! Granted, I got there at 10:30, they called on the radio asked if they had any biscuits. They said they ran out. How do you run out in 2 minutes? Go to Newport, Oakleys food is better but they’re not.
The food was great and the service was friendly. But the drive-through is weird! I had not been here in years, and I was very confused. I don't know how I feel about the staff members having to stand outside just to take orders. It rained all day, and while they do have an awning with heat for them, it just doesn't make sense to me to subject their team members to those kinds of conditions if it's not really necessary. It just doesn't look good for the brand to me, but that is just my opinion. I certainly wouldn't want to work there.

I am updating my review because this restaurant used to be great, but my recent experiences have been terrible. Out of four orders, they have forgotten something each time, and the fries have been cold, which is quite surprising considering I picked up the food myself. I won't be going back anytime soon. It's hard to justify paying for food that you don't actually receive.
The food is always fresh and delicious, it's Chick Fil A, after all. The carry out is extremely fast and efficient. It's unfortunate that the industry is facing staffing shortages and they need to close at 8, but I'm glad they chose reduced hours rather than compromising on quality. The parking lot is small but line really does move fast. Highly recommended!
As a Dasher I really love just being stared at by literally every employee in the store and not one asking me if I'm there for an order, same as you happens if I'm not a dash or just placing a normal online pickup, my favorite part is standing there for nearly 10 minutes and then they just grab my food that has been sitting there for 10 minutes
The service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly. I rated it 3 out of 5 stars because I ordered a frozen lemonade, but I received a regular lemonade instead, which I don’t enjoy due to the pulp. When I mentioned this, they promptly prepared a frozen lemonade for me, but it turned out to be cherry-flavored, and I’m not a fan of cherries.
