Placed an online order at 04:00 PM and put the pick up time for 5:45 PM (just in time for the Superbowl). When I got there at 5:30 PM for the pick up, they looked at me with 2 heads saying they don't know what I'm talking about. I showed then the online order through my phone and they said they weren't looking at online orders. So why offer it? Waited approximately an hour for my food (all desserts are store bought). Chicken was very good, the rest was microwaved/reheated trash (ribs were cold, mashed potatoes collard greens were bad). No compensation, just an apology and an hour wait. Bad service overall. You just lost an occasional customer. Would not recommend.
If you haven't been to Chicken Joy yet, you absolutely need to experience this paradise for chicken lovers. While Kentucky fried chicken has its own distinct recipe, Chicken Joy takes the experience to new heights. I always go for the white meat, but the dark meat is just as impressive. Be sure to try the cranberry sauce; it complements the chicken beautifully. The flavor is unparalleled—perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. The classic fries and ample servings of plantains are must-tries; they're soft and sweet. Both the potato salad and macaroni salad are delightful as well. I give this place a perfect five out of five!
My family and I recently visited this restaurant and were served cold chicken. When we informed the staff about this, they had the audacity to take back the already bitten pieces of chicken, re-fry them, and return them to us instead of offering us fresh chicken. First of all, that is absolutely disgusting. I used to love this restaurant when I was younger, but it has completely changed for the worse. We will not be returning because it raises serious health concerns about what other food might be treated the same way. If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would!
If you haven?t been to chicken delight you must find your way down to this chicken Haven. Kentucky fried chicken has its own recipe but chicken delight is next level. I always order white meat only. But you can?t go wrong with dark meat as well. Make sure you get cranberry sauce as it really works well with the chicken. The taste of the chicken is unlike any other. Fried to perfection and super tasty. Get classic fries and also a large order of plantains. Soft and sweet. Corn on the cob without butter. Potato salad and macaroni salad are good. 5 out of 5!!

I was informed that my wait time would be 6 minutes, but I ended up waiting nearly 12 minutes instead. The chicken wings were overly salty, and the French fries weren't fresh—they had black spots on them, probably because the cook needed to change the oil. To make things worse, I noticed the person preparing the food went to the restroom while still wearing her apron and came back out the same way! I couldn't confirm if she changed it or not. I certainly won't be returning to this place again.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding. I highly recommend the Chinese New Year Chicken and the Corn on the Cob. Both dishes were served hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
If I could give a zero rating, I would, as I felt completely ignored. I waited at the counter for 5 minutes, and the older man working there should not be in that position.
What a fantastic little chicken place! The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. I tried the $5 lunch special, and the food was really good—no complaints at all!
