I would rate the food a 4, but the service only a 2. We waited a long time for everything we ordered. Our server recommended starting with the crab bites, and we ordered two servings, but they didn't arrive until after we had finished our lunch. I had to ask multiple times about our order, and was informed there was some confusion in the kitchen. We also had to ask for cutlery and for two more sodas, which took several reminders. Another waitress helped us after we had been waiting for so long, but told us we needed to place our order with our original server, which we had already done. If you're really hungry and in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It's unfortunate because I u...

I ordered the Paddy Melt with a side of fries and their Long Island Iced Tea called the Empty Net. The burger was enormous—wow! It was juicy and packed with flavor. Honestly, don’t even think about adding ketchup; it’s perfect as is. The burger was so big that it could easily feed two people. I had half of it boxed up, and I wasn’t really expecting to eat it later. But the burger held up beautifully and wasn’t soggy at all. I wrapped it in foil and reheated it the next day for lunch, and it was even better! My drink was also fantastic; the flavors were well-balanced, which isn’t easy to find in an iced tea. I didn’t take any pictures because I was too busy enjoying my meal, haha. The restaur...

Fries served lukewarm and hidden beneath a heap of Old Bay, accompanied by two containers of warm, salted grease? Yes. Nachos that taste like thick cardboard, smothered in greasy lard and topped with what seemed like expired frozen minute steak? Absolutely. A burger that has the flavor of fish? You bet. Our entire group agreed the food was so unappetizing that we were concerned about food poisoning and ended up leaving most of it untouched. On a positive note, our waitress was fantastic, though understandably overwhelmed with too many tables. If you find yourself here, I suggest you skip the food altogether.

Unfortunately, the bread was very dry and oversized compared to the amount of steak it contained. The sauce looked appealing but didn't add much moisture; after a bite, we realized just how dry the whole sandwich was. I was extremely disappointed in this place with its historic reputation in Philadelphia. I’d pick Tony Luke's over Chickie's and Pete's any day, especially given how busy Tony Luke's was compared to this spot, which felt more like a quiet business lunch venue. If you want a genuine cheesesteak experience, I recommend looking elsewhere! Book a table now

Lukewarm fries buried in a pile of Old Bay with two boats of warm salted lard on the side? Check. Nachos that taste like thick cardboard smothered in salted lard and topped with expired frozen minute steak? Check. A burger that tastes like (uncooked) fish? Check. Our entire party agreed that the food was disgusting, so to avoid food poisoning, we left them with the food and the check. (But I tipped our waitress who was wonderful despite being overworked with too many tables). If you must dine here, avoid the food.

Our server, Olivia, was attentive and professional, and the food was served hot throughout our visit! I spoke with the manager, who clarified that the advertisement for the All You Can Eat Snow Crabs, Wings, and Crabfries was intended to be per person, with no sharing allowed. However, the ad did not explicitly state this in writing. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the BYOGOF (Buy Your Own Get One Free) offer on the crabs. I absolutely love my Chickie's Pete's!

The waitress approached us to take our order before we even had a chance to look through the menu. When our food finally arrived, not everything came out at once, and we were missing a sandwich. We struggled to get her attention, and when she returned, we had to ask her about the sandwich, which had been forgotten in the kitchen. It left us with a very disappointing first impression.

I've visited C&P many times, but this was my first experience trying their crabs, and they did not disappoint! We took advantage of the Tuesday 2-for-1 deal on snow crab legs, and they were amazing! The whole blue crabs were also quite tasty, both were very meaty. Plus, we enjoyed one of my favorites, the lobster pie. It was a fantastic meal! Book a table now

We requested a semi-private area and were seated in a booth, which was perfectly fine. Our server, Lisa, was delightful and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. The food was excellent, and we will certainly be back.
