My experience at Chilos Spencer was extremely disappointing. My order was incorrect, and when I raised the issue with the evening manager, they were unhelpful and dismissed my concerns. It seemed that English was not widely spoken, which only added to my frustration. Additionally, I was overcharged, including a gratuity of $15.78 for just two people. The water wasn’t refilled, and when I tried to catch the waitress's attention, she ignored me while chatting with a coworker and looking at her phone. I even attempted to call the restaurant today to talk to the manager, but they kept hanging up on me. I've been to other Chilos locations and had better experiences, but this one was the worst. Be...

Absolutely horrible experience, my order was incorrect, the evening manager was unwilling to fix the issue, no one apparently spoke English. I was over charged and they even added their own gratuity tip, of $15.78 when it was only a party of two people.Water never refilled, even when trying to flag the waitress down from our table she continued to talk with her coworker behindthe bar while they played on their phones. I tried to contact the establishment again today to speak to manager, and they justkept hanging up on me. Been to Chilos before at other locations. This is the worst by far. Check your receipts. Theyintentionally over charge.
The main reason I came here was because I heard that the shrimp dish (I forgot the name) that I usually order at Ostioneria Michoacan Camaron Botanero is better at Chilos Spencer. I wanted to see for myself, but they are definitely not better. Starting with the corn, it tasted off, and the broth was just salty butter with no spice at all. The service was okay—the waitress didn’t take much time when taking our orders, but she was friendly. If you don’t like the smell of cigars, I wouldn’t recommend this place since smoking is allowed. I gave it 2 stars mainly for the ceviche tostada and the karaoke.
I visited this location because I thought it would be like the other Chilos restaurants and it was the closest to where I was. The atmosphere is great and the vibe is nice. However, the buckets of beer are overpriced—they don’t charge by the bucket, but for each beer in the bucket. Be careful with mixed drinks as they barely put any liquor in them, or they’re watered down, just like the shots. As for the food, the shrimp cocktail and other seafood dishes are a must-try. Regarding comments about the music being too loud, I found it pleasant and not loud at all. Book a table now
Came At This Location Cause I Thought It Was Like The Rest Of The Chilos And Was The Closest One Where I Was At. Good Atmosphere A Vibe Buckets Of Beer Are Over Priced, They Don?t Charge By The Bucket on Recipe They Charge For Each Beer In Bucket. Any MixDrink Watch Out For They Don?t Put Hardly Any Liquor In It Or It?s Water Down Just Like The Shots. Food.. Shrimp Cocktail AndOther Sea Food Plates Are A Must. Hear On Comments About Music To loud. Music Is Dissent Not Loud At All.
I truly love this restaurant. The crawfish is exceptional, and the mariachi bands contribute to the vibrant atmosphere. I make an effort to support the band whenever possible. My favorite dishes include a selection of crawfish tortas and tacos. It's a wonderful chance for me to practice my Spanish while the waitress gets to work on her English. I took my daughter here, and now she enjoys it just as much as I do. As I write this, I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
I love this place. The crawfish is exceptional. I love the mariachi bands. I always patron the band as much as possible. I always get an array of food like crawfish tortas and tacos. I practice my Spanish and the waitress practices her English. I tookmy daughter here and now she loves it as much as I do. I am planning my next visit as I write this.
The taste of the food is good and there are tajadas and tostones for getting that plantain fix. Ask for a Togo cup if you didn't drink enough horchata. Book a table now
Delicious fresh oysters and cold beer in a fantastic atmosphere. However, it was quite pricey—$60.00 before tip.
