The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, very roomy. Our server was very nice and pulled in extra help when she didn?t know the answer to a question about the menu. The quality of the tacos was not good unfortunately. They were cold and did not improve thesecond time they came out. I didn?t feel that I could eat them. We totally understand that it could have just been a fluke, buthopefully the quality will be better if we come back in the future.
Is it just me or do all the Chimi's in Tulsa need a good cleaning.... food is decent and the locations are good. The Cherry Street restaurant is handy for lunch close to downtown and has good easy parking. Chips and salsa a good and most entrees i have tried are good. Service is average and inside is very colorful and festive...just seems like it needs a good cleaning.
A small group of us went on a busy Sunday afternoon. Scott was an excellent waiter who kept the chips and drinks full. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions to meet our dietary needs. This was my first time at Chimi's and I'lldefinitely be back for the good food and great service!
I find that people either love or hate Chimi's. I'm not a fan personally. The food is bland and not up to Mexican or Tex-Mex flavors. Also even if it isn't busy it may seem that way - you may never see your wait staff. Also lots of flies every time I've been. Book a table now
Chimi's is a good solid place for mexican food. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's a great place to go for quick service and good food. They have a lot of space, so I would recommend this restaurant if you have a large group!
Love this spot! Great food, great drinks, great price. The bar is awesome and the bartenders are the best in town. I had Shiree as a bartender and what a great experience. Her positive, fun attitude made my day! Highly recommend!!
not my favorite Mexican restaurant. the service is subpar, which eat is subpar. there are too many really good Mexican restaurants in the city to give chimi’s more than a glimpsing view.
If you're going to make a crispy taco and put lettuce and tomato in it, don't call it a traditional taco!! Paid $10 for 3 crispy tacos I could've gotten at Taco Bell. Never going again. Book a table now
Food was fine. Service sucked. Waitress was too busy socializing with her friends, to fill my drink until I finally got out of my booth and headed to the water pitcher.
