Food from China House is good, the only issue I have is the fact that they charge a Minimum $13 for delivery, and require a minimum $15 for a Credit purchase. I would not have ordered Delivery if I was able to pick up the food myself (currently at work and unable to leave), the main issue with this is the fact that the Delivery Driver is literally driving about 1,000 feet down the road to make the Delivery to me....
The Orange Chicken was perfectly balanced, with a spicy-sweet flavor and a moist texture. At some other restaurants, the chicken can be dry from frying, but not here. The Beef with Broccoli was excellent, and I was pleased to be able to swap the usual brown sauce for my favorite garlic sauce. The veggie spring rolls were crispy and wonderfully light, without being greasy at all.
I enjoy my General Tso’s chicken cooked tenderly, and they absolutely nailed it! I was able to enjoy every single piece! The cooks at Golden Wok on Colman St really need some training because they never seem to get it right, so instead of complaining, I decided to try another Chinese restaurant.
Food from here is completely average Americanized Chinese fare. The orange chicken has imperceptible levels of spice and the dumplings have thick wrappings. Dumpling sauce is good and two little containers were provided (a mistake? Youll use both if you like some distinctive flavor. Book a table now
We've been dining at this restaurant for 20 years, as we work right next door, and we've never had a bad meal. The food is fantastic, the service is quick, and the staff is wonderful. I wouldn't consider ordering from anywhere else.
Without a doubt, this is the best fast Chinese restaurant in the area. The dumplings are excellent. Be sure to ask for the house mustard sauce!
