China River - Table reservation

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The waiter had an attitude the whole time and in end expected a good tip they will harass you for a tip! Beware I went on a Sunday it was $20 a person with a drink which isn’t bad but isn’t great for the average food they have. Waiter stood over my shoulder to see how much I was going to tip and got upset because to him it wasn’t a lot. Mind you he was too worried with other things to barely tend to our table. And stopped the people I came with asking them more money for a tip. Come at your own risk. Place is alright but never have we been harassed for a tip anywhere.

I have gone to china river for years.. but NEVER have I found something like this.. my husband and I went with our family to have a family lunch and CAME ACROSS THIS ROACH ON MY RIBS! They wanted to try and down play it but we had already taken a picture so they couldn’t say it wasn’t on there.. thankfully they took care of our bill because we were not going to pay for that . It ruined our appetite so we left. Just beware of the food here.. honestly unsure I’ll be going back there.

Today was a wow kinda service. Melissa was our waitress, and she was awesome. Come to find out, she is a hostess except for Wednesdays and Thursdays. I recommend you go in on those days and ask for her tables. You won 't be disappointed. And she doesn 't harass you for her tip like all the others. Hands up for her kinda of service ?

We visited Houston and tried out this buffet. Awesome! The service was amazing! And they refilled drinks you can also order beer here which is quite unusual!!?

Food was hot and good. It's the so called ice cream that could improve. This is in Pasadena or so.Houston.
