We had a family dinner for 25 at China Star Palace the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve. The staff here was so helpful in organizing, making suggestions for the menu (we had a buffet due to the size of our group) and working with us to make adjustments as needed for the group. There was plenty of food and the per person rate was extremely reasonable. The service during the event was also wonderful. We were in the larger private event room in the back, which had lots of space for our group. I will come here again if we organize another large group dinner! Thank you!
We ordered two combination dinners at this restaurant. The Sweet and Sour Chicken Combination and the General Tso's Chicken Combination. Unfortunately, the meals arrived cold, the chicken was dry, and the sauce for the General Tso's Chicken was too sour. Additionally, the plum sauce for the egg rolls tasted like vinegar.
The food at this restaurant is affordably priced and the portions are generous. I have been coming to this place with my family and friends since I was a child. I enjoy the delicious Beef Chop Suey, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken with Broccoli Combination, and Egg Rolls. The owner has remained the same since I was a kid.
Well now.. I've been dining here pre COVID and loved it. Today, not so much. I'm tasting some change in the kichen flavor department and not in a positive way. Also, I ordered a carry out dinner and got home to lunch portions and it was crushing.

It was great to be back at China Star Palace! Owned by the same family, same great food! (That delicious homemade plum sauce! Head and shoulders above any other Chinese restaurant I've been to over the years.
I go here pretty often and I always get the sweet and sour combo. Everyone here is always so nice and the food is always a quick fix for comfort food! I love coming here!
