One of the classics has seen a prolonged slump, but word on the street (and the sign out front) is that they 've changed management. Some say they 're back to their old excellence; I had to see for myself (and for anyone who cares what I think). Scallion Pancake: Excellent. Near-elite to elite. Light but thick, with nice moist chewiness in addition to the crispy. Thicker-than-usual and darker-than-usual ginger sauce. BBQ Ribs: Well above average but neither fresh nor elite. Good glaze. Nice char. Meat moist in some spots, disappointingly dry in other spots. Most of the flavor came from the classic bright red glaze. Note: their signature Chinatown Ribs, which put them on the map decades ago,...

We have been frequenting this restaurant for many years, but since the change in leadership, we have noticed a decline in quality. After the COVID-19 pandemic, we witnessed the owner yelling at customers, and just this week, he incorrectly told my 88-year-old father that our online order confirmation number was wrong, which it was not. My father has vowed to never return to be treated in such a manner. We are paying customers, not employees. Additionally, they gave my father the wrong order and when notified, there was no apology, just a request to come and pick up the correct order. A simple smile and thank you can go a long way. There is another Asian restaurant less than a mile away that...

This restaurant review is quite unconventional for me. The staff seem to be very friendly and the owner/manager is highly respected and well-liked. However, the food is not of high quality and the prices are not very good either. The one size pricing system doesn't make you eager to come back for more. If portion size and food quality aren't priorities for you, then this might be the place for you. I have dined here only four times and considering China Gourmet nearby, it is crucial to offer delicious food at reasonable prices.

The prices for the food are incredibly high, to the point where they are unreasonable. We specified that we wanted our dishes to be mild, but they ended up being extremely spicy and left our tongues burning. The staff were not friendly and seemed indifferent to our concerns. The restaurant had very few tables available, indicating that it was not very popular. The owner, Henry, was particularly unpleasant. It is a mystery how this establishment manages to stay in business. Book a table now

When we lived in Canton, this restaurant was our top choice for Chinese food. Even though we now live in Maine and can only visit once a year, it is still the best in town. The service is great, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The food is delicious, with recommended dishes including Boneless Spareribs, Crab Rangoons, Shrimp Tempura, and Chicken Fingers. The atmosphere is decent, with a rating of 3 out of 5. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20 for dinner.

The food used to be very good. I'd recommend it to everybody. No more. The manager is an arrogant ****. Called my wife stupid after nearly weekly patronage over 20 plus years. The food has gone downhill and the prices have gone way up. What can they do to improve? That's tough because the manager is the owners son. I'll be surfing they are still in business in a couple of years. Maybe their lease keeps them from closing.

I have been ordering from chinatown for over twenty years. The quantity of food they are giving people for there money is despicable. The food is not bad but the portions are very small and they only do one size of items to go and that gets very expensive. I am going to post one of there dinners that cost $14 it contained one chicken wing cut in half and 6 small pieces of chicken. You be the judge. Service: Take out

Our family has been loyal customers of this restaurant for 25 years, ordering 1-3 times a week. Unfortunately, since it has changed ownership, the quality has significantly declined. I can no longer consider it as my top choice for Asian food. They used to be fantastic, but now they are just average. I have switched to Gourmet Garden instead. It's a shame, as they used to be the best in the area. Book a table now

Best Chinese/Japanese/Asian Fusion in the area. Also- great to have spot where owner greets everyone by name and willing to make sure your experience is excellent. Used to just do takeout and delivery but now that they're open for dine in- this is family go to spot!!
