Great value for money with the best chicken doner tandoori meat - it's nice and firm but not dry. They give you double the amount compared to other local chip shops, and they even provide free salad. In other places in Wigston, they charge £2 or more for salad. I also tried their burger, which could have a fattier taste, but for £3.10, the double flame-grilled burger with salad and chips is unmatched. I haven't found anywhere else that offers such great value. Thank you.
Went tonight and had a lovely flame grilled burger and proper chip shop chips. None of this French fries rubbish... Great offers if u want to save a little too. Friendly and helpful staff always. You can even order online , or just phone and collect which I do. They also deliver which is handy if you have a large order. They have just refurbished but still have the same good stuff too.
Ordered a doner and chicken kebab to watch the lady go into the back, bring a bowl back in and warm it in a microwave. No thank you! She was then rude when I told her that I didn't want reheated chicken. I ended having fish cake and chips which was dry and bland. I will not be eating here again!
One of the cheapest chip shops in the area. Fairly portioned. Wraps are really good. Only thing iv noticed is if you order on just eat and write a note about your order they dont read it. So you dont get what you asked for. If you go in the shop and ask for what you want they do it. Book a table now
The chip shop is now under new management. I have visited twice since the change and the quality has been excellent. If you had stopped going because of the reputation of the previous owners, I highly recommend giving the new owners a chance.
This is pretty much our local chippy. I wouldn't rave about it, but it's nice enough. The pizza is good value, especially if you don't want to pay the prices of Dominos etc. Serve is good. It looks clean. Can't complain.
The curry sauce was thin and lacked flavor, and the mushy peas were also disappointing. It seems like they are cutting corners to save money. Overall, it was a grim dining experience.
The food always arrives cold, despite us living near the shop. The chips are disgusting and limp. They are very stingy on any sauce, we have to order extra pots because of this. Book a table now
