It used to be my favorite restaurant, especially since it was where I first discovered Chipotle. However, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this location in South Gate. A few weeks ago, I ordered through Uber Eats, and they forgot to include the guacamole I had paid for, as well as the signature queso in my burrito. Eager to give it another chance, I decided to visit in person on a Saturday afternoon. While the customer service was acceptable, the way my burrito was assembled was a complete mess. It fell apart entirely, and my friend's quesadilla was equally disappointing. The overall experience at checkout confirmed my decision—I'd really suggest avoiding this place!
My girlfriend went to buy food for my son, and unfortunately, everything was disappointing. The rice was hard and undercooked, the guacamole was old and warm, and the overall presentation on the plate was messy. I attempted to call and inform them that the food was not suitable for kids. Honestly, if I could, I would give this location no stars. All I wanted was either a replacement for my son’s meal or a refund. Either option would have been fine.
I placed an order for an online pickup . After waiting for 20 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready . A worker told me my order wasn’t ready to be picked up yet . So finally after another 10 minutes I go to check up on my order and they said it was there the whole time and now my food is cold and I’ve waited 30 minutes for nothing .
