This Chipotle is not the best one out there. I've been to this location over 10 times and have noticed that they are quite stingy with the meat portions. I usually order the Chicken Burrito Bowl, and more often than not, the amount of meat they give barely fills less than a scoop. The meat hardly covers the bowl, and if you opt for extra meat, you only receive a tiny amount—it's really disappointing for the extra charge. I'm not sure if management is aware of this issue, but this location definitely needs to improve how they handle portion sizes. This restaurant offers quick and reasonably priced takeout, but I've noticed that the protein portions in their carryout orders are often quite small. It felt like they used an ice cream scoop for my carnitas, as the serving was much less than what I consider normal. Since I live nearby, I've dined in before, and I've observed that they provide a significantly larger portion of protein when you eat at the restaurant—perhaps because they feel more pressure to meet customer expectations in person. That's just my take on it. Overall, the food is tasty, and I don't expect too much from a bowl that costs around $10-$12. It’s a decent option for a quick lunch or dinner.
After a long hour-and-a-half drive home, I decided to stop at the Little Neck branch to grab some food. To my surprise, I found out that they weren't serving customers, even though this wasn't mentioned on their website. Despite the inconvenience, they allowed me and the three people behind me to go in. Unfortunately, the manager, Charlotte, was unhelpful and combative. The restaurant was also messy, and it was evident that Charlotte was not managing the situation well.
After a 1.5-hour drive home, I stopped by this Little Neck location to grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately, I discovered that they were only serving customers through online orders and weren’t allowing anyone inside. There were three people in line behind me, and we were all turned away. I’m not sure what makes this Chipotle different, but it’s the worst one I’ve been to, whether locally or out of state. The portion sizes are really small—without the guacamole, my bowl would look almost empty. They don’t fill it up like other locations do, yet I still pay the same price. When there’s a line, the staff seems to lack urgency, and I’ve noticed that the employees don’t smile at all.
I’m a big fan of Chipotle, but the disorganization at this location during non-peak hours reflects poor management or staffing. If I were to rate them based solely on food quality and service, I would give them 4 stars. However, with improvements in cleanliness and restocking, I would be more than happy to raise my rating to 5 stars, which is what I have come to expect from Chipotle.
I went last night at 7:15 and was surprised to find out they were only taking online orders. I was really disappointed to end up at Panera Bread instead. When I left at 8:30, I noticed they were serving customers in a line. It was frustrating because I was really craving Chipotle, and I ended up with subpar food at Panera.
I wouldn't recommend going to this place. The portions are small and the food was served cold. Be cautious when ordering the guacamole as well. The picture really speaks for itself. Book a table now
