Yesss it's worth the hype!! I've always driven by but never went in. I recently checked it out as a pre-concert meal. Interior is super nice. I got the carne asada and Baja fish tacos. Both were very delicious! The carne asada was soo juicy and meat was soft. The Baja fish had a light batter and was very refreshing. It had a lil bit of coleslaw and sauce, which gave it a nice balance to the fried fish. Service was fast as well. Definitely will be back in the future!
This place is the bees knees. Affordable fast reliable and tasty. Get the fish tacos you won’t be disappointed : . The aguas frescas are really good too. And the saladand the sandwich. Honestly get anything and I don’t think you’ll be bummed. Sit on the back patio if you can. My first time here with my wife. We got there as they opened so there was no line like I usually see when walking by which was nice. I got some sort of pork sandwich and it was amazing. The bread they used was awesome. The crunch, and burst of flavors was fantastic. Not greasy, just perfect. I'm coming back for sure! The best fish Taco place. Yummy prep with good seasoning. The fish salad was the best blend of veg with sea food . French fry crispy. Cholita Linda is our go-to here in Alameda. Their fish tacos are the best in the area. We lived in Oakland near their Temescal restaurant and liked them so much, we had them cater our wedding. Now we live in Alameda, happily walking distance to this second location. Everything is delicious. Service: Dine in
Cholita Linda is a great lunch spot. Baja fish tacos or the Cubans will power you up and get you through the day. Service is good and I really like the fresh juices. It is colorfully decorated and the patio is awesome. The only thing that would make it better is if I could have a cold beer with my food.
