Ever since our two favourite Thai restaurants shut down or changed hands Thai Spice and Thai House) we have had serious withdrawal cravings for great Thai cuisine. We tried this restaurant at Woden Plaza after a friend recommended the one at Kingston but it's...much easier to park at Woden and the Foreshore doesn't do a lot for me. The fit out is attractive and there's plenty of room at the table. It's licensed but you can BYO too for $3 per person. You can also hear each other without yelling and as this was lunch there was a specials menu with quite a number of dishes at discounted prices. Our waitress bravely took our order without writing it down and we expected the worst but it all came...
This restaurant once had warm friendly service and great food. Now you fill out a form at the table with your food and drink order, the food is pretty average now, it’s expensive and the service is poor. Especially the rude woman who takes your...money. I tried to pay with EFTPOS and they tried to charge a credit card surcharge, she was rude about it and refused to take my EFTPOS payment without the surcharge. I know merchant fees are not charged on an interest base on EFTPOS. I won’t be back.

My partner & I had a chicken cashew nuts & rice and vegetarian laksa from their lunch menu. My laksa was good enough for the price of $11.9 since I didn't have a high expectation. The chicken cashew nuts dish was surprisingly good!!
Overall, this is a nice place to eat cheap lunch. I like the atmosphere, too.
we have made their food specialties and dinner fall in. good selection of foods that have always been tasty and quickly served. good selection of food for children, the usual nuggets or fish and chips, but they also have a few noodle dishes. as children pad thai. in any case a favorite place to dinate for us.

Buying some good quality takeaway that can be easily shared and replacing it at home is a great way to cater for a group without too much fuss or cost. Chong Co in Woden has great dishes that are well sized for sharing. Good choices include…. Thai beef salad Prawn lemongrass stir fry
Great lunch specials here, definitely worth a check out. Super fast and attentive service. Restaurant was clean and staff were inviting. Portions were adequate for price paid. My absolute favourite is their beef massaman, too bad they don't do a lunch special for this dish.
absolutely delicious food! lunch last week and dinner tonight and very happy. service was amazing, with our food delivered to us immediately in both sessions. friendly staff. busty Saturday evening with all tables booked and I can see why. will definitely return!
I love chong and co., his journey to thai, because I dive or take it. my special favorite dish is her die fry cashewnut sauce dish with bark meat. it's fantastic. highly recommended.

Food very fast when you on a go. We order Padthai, Tom yum prawns soup and ask the chef to cook Thai Payaya salad for us and she did. Staff very helpful.
Saturday evening 5 of us had a very enjoyable dinner in chong co. Eat was well presented and tasty, good service and worth.
