Food here was always solid when I lived in the area. Never had any issues. Owner is, presumably same guy still, a good guy who I would see hanging out locally often. Think he's from the area. That said, can't say I miss any aspect of Chicago. Although I grew up there, and it was great 70—90's, now forget it. This has been my favorite restaurant since I was five years old, but I recently stopped by for a lunch break and was utterly disappointed by the owner. He was obnoxious and rude, not to mention the outrageous prices for the food. I paid over $10 for a burger and fries, and I won’t be coming back. You've just lost a longtime customer due to your unprofessionalism and poor customer service. Two thumbs down!
Everything on the menu is absolutely fantastic! The ingredients are always fresh, from the breads to the salads and coleslaw. I have never had a bad meal here. The quality is consistently excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. This is truly my go-to fast food place!
While its a damn good choppak burger and the price is right its still just pre cooked patties they toss on the grill and not hand packed. They do it right with all the toppings and the grilled onion are the bomb. Best bang for your buck bottom line

getting sloppy missed onion rings and bacon on chop pack normally have no problems but today called to tell about missing onion rings was told it must have ben driver but when started eating found out burgers were missing bacon
They had a great burger here I enjoyed the food I just froze eating it. Lol. It’s gettin cold out and I don’t think they turned the heat on yet but they do have a good food selection
Won't recommend if you have taste buds.. place is also dirty. The only reason I stopped in was because my son was hungry.
