I love to give positive reviews, and for being so close to me I really wish I could do more for this local buisness, but I typically choose to go to the mystic christos over the ledyard one almost everytime. Same food. Completely different experience.Mystic employees are kind, respectful, and rarely mess up the food. When you call to tell them of an issue they take care of it.The ledyard christos is typically rude, bad phone manners, and has excuses or blames the customer for messing up the food order.Its truly a shame, I really feel bad here because I do enjoy the food when its made correctly. This wasn't the first time receiving bad service from this place. Call and place a pick up order today, no friendly greeting just a HOLD no thank you for calling please hold and when finally picking back up just a rude hello. At this point we should have known better and checked the food before leaving, got all the way home to find out we got the wrong order yet again. We call back the delivery guy answered who was nice hands the phone back to the rude girl. I called to express our concerns, and they offered to remake our order and send someone to collect the incorrect items. However, I explained that my husband needed to eat immediately due to his pain medication. The delivery driver repeatedly suggested that they could prepare new food and deliver it to us. When I asked about a refund, he completely disregarded my request and kept pushing for a remake and delivery. He mentioned that the owner would get in touch with me in the morning, but it's now 4:00 PM, and I still haven't heard from anyone.

I ordered from the Ledyard location last night, and we usually choose this place for convenience. However, this experience prompted me to write a review. We ordered a Caesar chicken wrap that was simply inedible, along with a side of fried pickles. Both had to be thrown away because they were overwhelmingly salty—like someone had dumped an entire shaker of salt on them. We also tried the buffalo chicken pizza, and it was the worst I've ever had. It's time for us to look for a new spot for our Saturday takeout.

We have been ordering from Christos for years. The last few times the food quality has not been the same. Tonight they mixed up our orders. When we spoke to Brian and the restaurant they argued with us about the mistake they made. Blamed me for theirmistake. Bad customer service and bad service by Brian who continued to argue about the mistake THEY made on our food order whenhe came to our door with the supposed corrected order. first time i ate their pizza was last night, i am used to asylum street pizza in norwich the best your money can find this christo's has a different taste, i don't know if its all some kind of soy based but it just doesn't hit the palate the way most pizza does, even dominos has more of a pizza taste than the pizza i ate last night i'm gonna find out today how it is cold and will get back
We're spending the Labor Day wknd in Mystic and came upon Christo's. The place is small, quaint and relaxing. Upon entering, the hostess was sweet, welcoming and pleasant. We had a half plain half pepperoni personal pie and wings. It was reallydelicious.
I ordered a Philly steak grinder and was not pleased with the food at all. It didn?t even taste right. That is the worst I had and charged a ridiculous price for it that didn?t even include a side. I will not be coming here again
