After seeing fabulous reviews about this restaurant, which was described as fine dining cafe we thought we would give it a go. We were so disappointed. We usually check the food hygiene rating but didn't for this. Whilst there we found it only had a 2 hygiene rating which was very off putting. It is definitely not a fine dining more like home cooking. Staff were friendly. We ordered 3 chicken dishes and all were generous portions, we are not keen on fish, but unfortunately the chicken dishes smelt and tasted strongly of fish. Some people might like this, it is Malaysian but for us it was too much.

after we fabulous critiken about this restaurant, which was described as a fine food café, we thought we would give it a bit. we were so disappointed. we check in the rule the food hygiene, but not for it. while we found there that it had only a 2 hygiene rating that was very unobtrusive. it is definitiw no good eating more like cooking at home. the personal was friendly. we ordered 3 chicken dishes and all were generous portions, we are not sharp on fish, but unfortunately the chicken dishes melted and tasted strongly from fish. some people like that, it's Malaysian, but for us it was too much.

We had a great time at Chuba Rasa. We were served by the lovely Malaysian owner, and dining with Malaysians I can say the food really is very authentic. It felt like sitting in a cafe in Malaysia itself. Can't fault the food it was out of this world! Best Malaysian restaurant I have been to in London yet!

excellent food big portions. Good value. Do not expect deluxe look feel but the food makes up for it.
