Chuchok Thai - Table reservation

Honestly, I was really looking forward to trying this place for the longest time as I've been on the hunt for a proper Thai place in the area. I came out a bit disappointed by the experience. Drunken noodles is my go to dish and how I gauge a thai restaurant. While the flavor was present I was quite disappointed that they didn't use broad flat rice noodles and instead opted for what looks like pad Thai style noodles. The other issue that I had was that the dish was very dry. Most, if not all drunken noodles I've had in the past are a bit more on the saucy side. What I received was nothing like the pictures on their website which I attached below. What saved this place from getting less stars...

Shameless Cross Posting by yelp: FINALLY! Good. Thai food in the area! I hope they will expand their hours if they become more established? this place is a jewel. Thank you for labeling gluten-free options, as well as, and let me know when I asked (by my habit) to make sure that my order was GF that the tofu was fried in a common fryer. I made my life as a celiac much easier.

Bland, dry, hard Thai fried rice, which smelled good, but did not yield to taste, was my first introduction to this well visited restaurant. I added salt, but that didn't make any difference. I mean, it was so tasteless that I threw it in the garbage. After all the five-star reviews, I was thrilled to try this point? I'm not coming back!

I was recommended to take this restaurant and I regret not to try it! Although a bit expensive, their portions are big and the food is delicious, and spicy! I had to call a few times to place my order before someone answered, but I will probably order again!

This place has by far my favorite Drunken noodles. I can't rape enough about it to all I know
