This is a local favourite, particularly for its take away pizza's but also it has good pasta and a small but reasonable sized resistant to eat in. It can get mega busy particularly in rainy nights and weekends, when no one wants to go out or cook :) Really food Pizza's made in a wood fired oven, delivery service is pretty good. Prices ok, pretty much on par for the area.
The pizza was tasty, but the service and atmosphere could use some improvement. The restaurant is small and near the open kitchen, so the noise from the kitchen could be heard from outside, which was not very pleasant. It may have just been a bad day though. It was a hot day, so it's best to wear something light. Service was for dining in.
Recently moved to Balgowlah and found Ciao Bella while exploring the area. We ordered pizza. It was definitely the best pizza I have eaten in the area and better than what I've eaten around Sydney. We enjoyed our dinner so much we went back again the next day. This time ordered pasta & salad. Just as good as the pizza. We will be regulars.
The home delivery was not cooked properly, resulting in rubbery food that was delivered lukewarm. Service was fast and great, but the quality of the food was disappointing. Most delicious pizza on the beaches! Staff are always friendly and easy going and the food always has an authentic taste! Highly recommend!
