Succulent, tender polpette with sugo and mozzarella, crisp cotoletta milanese with nicely-cooked vegetables. Good, simple desserts like tiramisu and cream caramel. The owner even graciously sliced my homemade salame, which we started off with as an antipasto (BYO taken to its extreme). Even the homely touches of 5 mismatched wine glasses for our vintage reds and a waitress who had no clue what the fish of the day was or how it was prepared were appreciated. Wow. How did this place be here for 6 years we never noticed it? Beautiful simple food cooked without fuss and nice service. Great choices and the pizzas satisfied the kids. My 16 y.o. nephew had the pumpkin pasta and said it was the best bowl of pasta he 'd ever had. We all loved our meals and left with a bill of $120 between 6. This is a fantastic eat in a small room (seats maybe 18) and the best prices I 've ever come across in the North East of Melbourne. This has to become our new family regular. My only complaint was the Guns 'n Roses soundtrack in the background.
We were drawn to this beautiful restaurant because of all the reviews and we were not surprised. The food here is really so beautifully cooked, with care and with eager attention that what they put on the plate is a work of art. Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection and i would highly recommend their pastas. Beautifully hand made pastas that are extremely delicious and smooth, best value and very generous serving size that leaves you full and satisfied. We have been coming here every week since and plan to keep it going :
This place is a gem! I had one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, with superbly cooked pasta and fresh roasted vegetables in a lovely sauce. Great pizza with an authentic slim crust, and large serving sizes for an excellent price. There were two of us who had a main and an entree each, all for under $35! The staff were so nice, patient and friendly, and we even received a free meatball for our puppy who was sitting with us outside. Will definitely be back.

Have loved this place for a long time now. Great value food, home style comfort food that has never disappointed. Highlights for me are the tasty small pizzas (they do serve pizza, I think they replaced their oven a few months ago so were not available for a couple of weeks) good pasta, good chicken and veal schnitzels, my favourite must be their side of steamed veggies though, healthy and tasty. I highly recommend they do a great job.
Tony the chef is a master of Italian food. The food is delicious, the vegetarian lasagne and calamari salad, I can't get enough. Small, intimate, busy, you feel like you've ventured to Italy, great service, great menu and very warm and welcoming. Get in early,...they run out of lasagne and tiramisu. We always order dessert first and ask the waitress to put it aside : Yummy espresso to finish your meal.
If I were to share with you how dining at this restaurant is akin to being served the most delicious dishes by your grandmother, with especially scrumptious meatballs and delightful staff, I fear I may have trouble securing a reservation for myself in the future! Therefore, I urge you to discover your own fantastic neighborhood gem instead.
The veal dish was delicious and the portion size was generous. The service was friendly and prompt, and the venue had a nice cozy atmosphere. The coffee was also great. I highly recommend trying the meals at this restaurant for lovers of fine dining - they will not be disappointed!

Small restaurant with Italian cheap eats. Place is too small to dine in so takeaway is a better option. Food is always fast, fresh and tasty. Great local place.
