We went for brunch and it was nothing special. This is a typical hotel restaurant that had options for buffet and to order off a menu. After looking at the buffet, which was standard moderate hotel fare breads, scrambled eggs, meat, non berry fruit, beverages , we decided to order off the menu. The omelettes were fluffy and flavorful but nothing to rave about. The Mexican Benedict was tasty but not original and the bacon was average and a bit like they pulled it off the the buffet table. out of the in our party had really good food. The person said his hamburger was both too thick and burnt on outside. Our waitress was attentive and helpful but we waited for minutes after ordering to get our food. We were heading to Hamilton at the Overature that night. By the time we got our food, we had about minutes to eat before needing to head out the door. That was disappointing. Scallops and pork were excellent tho and I appreciated the substitute for potatoes
We ordered a oz. sirloin steak medium rare and a oz. flat iron steak medium; unfortunately, they brought us two oz. sirloin steaks that were more rare than medium rare. Due to the slow service, it wasn’t worth our while to send back the steak so they could correct it
I think this is just a great spot to dine before attending a performance at Overture. Come early, get parked, have a leisurely meal and walk down to your performance
