Went here with two kids (under 8) after the Franklin Institute. Clean place with good service and a pretty good beer list. Kids polished off their chicken fingers. We loved the cauliflower app. The pizza was ok little one liked the cheese and the piggy figgy was interesting. The short rib tacos were ok but really generous portions. They needed another vegi. I’d go back it was perfect for the kidos and had plenty of tvs for me.
Music is very loud so hard to hear people talking at your table. Ordered a salad with chicken and the chicken was overcooked: burnt on the bottom and very dry. Was with coworkers so did not send it back but was disappointed. The rest of the salad was fine but hard to mess up salad.
Nice place to hang out for a few drinks, comfort food and watch sports or just have good conversations. Large place that can get busy. Food has most popular American delights. Opted for the burger which was served good and tasty. Others in my group had pizza and appetizers.
Mike was so incredible with accommodating myself and my group (4 people) on short notice. Not only was he knowledgeable, but his customer service was incredible. If you want a good experience at City Tap, definitely ask for Mike- he definitely deserves a raise! Book a table now
Food is okay for the prices. A little overcooked and a little bland. Not wild but I'd be back for drinks. Cocktail menu had some nice options. Definitely a good place to unwind or watch a game, I probably wouldn't eat there again unless I was drunk.
It's a great atmosphere and big area. Wide selection of beers and if you want to be more away from the crowd, you can always go to the smaller bar
