Excited to try this place. Sadly I was Seriously disappointed with the food and the service. Ordered creprese which was made with a sweet crepe rather than an unsweetened crepe; when combined with tomatoes, basil and cheese it totally tasted Terrible. The photo on the menu showed a plain golden crepe, mine arrived toasted dark brown drenched in balsamic. Inedible- Do not recommend. The operator said I only have sweet crepe batter because we don?t have room for nonsweet crêpe batter and no one else has complained.
This is located within Mt. Dora Marketplace, and offers fresh, tasty options. I had their daily special turkey, spinach, jalapeno pimento cheese crepe. It was fantastic! The crepe was hot and crispy on the edges yet soft and fluffy. They also have breakfast crepes that look really good. There is enough variety that you won't get tired trying different options. There is several seating areas within the marketplace, but you could probably eat these standing up if you had to. I highly recommend trying them!
My husband ordered the savory option (The Monte Cristo) while I chose the sweet one (The Something Good) with added Nutella, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were very generous, and the prices were reasonable given that the crepes are made from scratch. The women preparing the crepes were incredibly kind and accommodating, and we got to watch them in action! The service was quick too. It's located in the marketplace, so be sure to check it out!
My wife and I decided to give this place a try, and we're so glad we did. We've sampled crepes all across the US, but Claire's crepes truly stand out for their delicious flavors. We were fortunate to have Claire serve us personally; she's incredible! This experience was about more than just great food—it was also about a passionate owner with an inspiring story and a special talent for making crepes!

Amazing! What a wonderful experience. I ordered the Crepizza, which was full of flavor and had a very generous portion! My husband enjoyed the Monte Cristo. I absolutely love this place and will definitely return. The location is fantastic; we even dined outside in February—because, well, we live in Florida!!!
Stopped in for lunch Tuesday 1/24/23, ordering The Fig Crepe listed on the specialty board. Preparer Jo expertly prepared our lunch while answering all our questions concerning special diet needs. Good value and tasty results. A visit to enjoy delicious crepes is well worth your time.
Had wonderfully fresh crepes with my son. Nutella, bananas and strawberries, oh, my!! Winner!! The staff were all friendly and ready to serve us. I wish they put whipped cream in the center and not just on top.
Always good. I?ve yet to be disappointed. My little girls love the place. Pro Tip: eat in the ally behind it. Usually quite and feels nice even on warm days.
