We had 4 adults 3 kids in our party, ages 6, 3 2. I reviewed their web site before the visit, so I knew they have a variety of dipping sauces other items meant for sharing that were decidedly NOT to go friendly. I was therefore quite surprised to find NO tables at all inside, only 2 small bistro-style tables outside. Because it was lunchtime, the heat index was over 100 and the outside tables were not an option. We made do as best we could with the wooden bar stools high counters in the cramped interior. The Salted Fry has some of the best fries and sandwiches anywhere in the Greater Orlando area! Not only that, this place is also gluten free!! You can’t even tell a difference! They have an amazing selection of sauces, loaded fries, poutine, drinks, sandwiches, and more! Their sauces are really what takes the fries to the next level don’t be afraid to get adventurous and try some unique combinations! My mentality is, the more unique, the better! Parking can be an issue here, like any place in Mount Dora especially on a busy day. So, be prepared to potentially walk a bit from the parking lot to The Salred Fry. It’s worth it though! We were in search of a quick lunch and were craving some fries. We were extremely satisfied with what we got! We ordered a Peaked Hill and a couple of sodas. The large size was more than enough for two people, as we couldn't even finish it. The restaurant is a bit small, but there is seating both indoors and outdoors. The drinks are a bit pricey and are individually bottled. They also offer alcoholic beverages such as beer, cider, and wine slushies. As for parking, the restaurant is located in downtown Mount Dora and finding close parking can be challenging, but there are several free parking lots in the surrounding area.
Service was fantastic in this cute town. Found the salted fry while walking around mount dora which is an absolute gem. Meandered down this aisle as there was a cosmetic shop I wanted to try out. Decided to stop at the salted fry and so glad we did. The poutine was excellent and the team was so nice. It was the perfect snack for an afternoon of walking around and enjoying the town. The poutine gravy was excellent and everything was made to order. I highly recommend this place when you’re in Mount Dora.

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent. I was disappointed by the additional charge for using a credit card. Since most people prefer to pay with credit cards, restaurants should reconsider this policy. I will be looking into other dining options that do not have this fee in the future.

The best French fries in Florida! My favorites are the truffle fries. They're just perfect, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is great, very nice kind people work at this place. Highly recommend it!
I cannot praise this place enough. The entire menu is gluten-free, including beer and desserts. The sandwiches were just as delicious as regular bread. Perfect for those with gluten dietary restrictions.

Fries are good, not great. Ordered truffle fries and they had no flavor. We got bits of fries more like left over fries. But the service is very good.
