My mom had been eyeing this restaurant for years. After a day of window shopping (and finally buying some ordinary things), we wanted to stop and eat something before heading home. This place had amazing food. The menu is very diverse, so everyone can choose what is best for their appetite and time. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. I wasn't very hungry for a big meal, so I decided to go for a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. It was the best grilled ham and cheese sandwich ever! Just like eating at Mom's house. Friendly staff. Sat right away. Place was packed. Everyone knows everyone else. My daughter and I had veal parmesan with Cole slaw and potato salad, cheese burger and fries. Hot, tasted great. Fair prices. Parking: I came in off Grandview Rd. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with the usual kids food. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to navigate and pull up to a table.
Food and atmosphere is pretty good. One complaint, they are very skimpy on the ice cream cones. If you need to charge more than 3.00 for one scoop of ice cream, (although I don’t know why), just do it. But don’t give out half scoops for your profit. If you want a decent sized ice cream cone, this is not the place.
Husband had the turkey dinner and said it's the best he's had at any local family restaurant. I had the hot bacon salad with chicken breast which was also very good. My husband had the banana Fudge supreme sundae for ? which he enjoyed. First time here. Will definitely come back.

The restaurant offers delicious food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. I was disappointed that they didn't have the chicken noodle soup, but that just gave me the opportunity to try the apple crumble instead! Check out the daily specials in the photo below.
Our server, Kim, was pleasant and checked on us at just the right times. The restaurant was bright and clean. I would definitely return. Today, we had breakfast. There were many choices.
The food at this restaurant was amazing! I had the Broasted Chicken, Fries, Beef Pot Pie, Spaghetti, 2 Pieces of Garlic Bread, Dinner Roll, and a Large Chocolate dessert.
The crab soup was delicious! The crabcake had a unique flavor compared to the ones in Maryland, but I still really enjoyed it.
