wow, just amazing kitchen. when we arrived, it was right after a heavy rain and it was an incentive of the moment to visit, so no reservations. a bit messy until the staff organized everything and we were looked after during our waiting and served within 20 minutes. our waiter steven was absolutely charming and efficient, even if he joggte more customers than normal. eating was presented as something from a gourmet cuisine magazine and tasted as fantastic as it looked. it has been a while since we had visited clifford lake and always enjoyed the warm atmosphere and eating, but this time I found it exceptionally delicious. my compliments to the chef! this historical inn is an absolute shade.
Zero stars! The service was awful! We waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged when we arrived. When the server finally came over, they greeted the people in line behind us and completely ignored us. Once we were seated, we waited 40 minutes without anyone coming to take our drink order. Multiple servers came and went but never approached us. The hostess kept stopping at nearby tables without offering us any assistance. It goes without saying that we decided to leave. Don’t waste your time or money here!
We dined there last Sunday for Mother's Day, and they were great about accommodating us despite the busy day. A good portion of the food was truly delicious. They were running low on desserts, offering some unique alternatives that were intriguing but maybe not to everyone's taste. However, the chicken and potatoes were excellent, and the mushrooms were absolutely fantastic! Although it felt a bit chaotic at times, the staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere and setting were lovely!
the first time he had heard from the family who often went there. it was not despised. shrimp alfredo was excellent and had rest enough for two meals. our party also ordered, lakefront chicken, krabby patti melt, and cajun chicken tortellini. all were just swung around the lakefront chicken, which was described as okay. the personal was friendly. the atmosphere is casual. beautiful view of the sea. Amazing hidden gem. Tucked near the back of Clifford lake it can be accessed by land or boat. Or seaplane. Once you get here enjoy the delicious food offerings, such as a half pound burger or some seafood. Everything on the menu is great. Lots of drink offerings as well and a wide selection of liquors. You will not be disappointed. Sit outside by the lake or enjoy the nice interior.
We had dinner at Clifford Lake Inn tonight, and it was fantastic! The walleye was incredible, as was the vegetable pasta. Our waiter provided outstanding service, and the presentation and flavor of the Spanish coffee were both remarkable. The Kentucky Derby pie was also delicious. We highly recommend this place!
This restaurant boasts a delightful atmosphere. Since the new owners took over a couple of years ago, the food has been quite good. Although the menu is somewhat limited, the warm service and stunning views make dining here worthwhile, particularly during the summer on the waterfront deck.
