Every so often my wife and I like to revisit restaurants that in the past gave us superb food, just to see if there have been any changes. As usual, Julien and his Team presented us with outstanding food again and raised the bar a few levels in the process. The octopus, scallop, apple and lime sorbet, followed by a trio of lamb on a wonderful foam and beautifully cooked vegetables. Just outstanding.As for dessert, my wife had the chocolate parfait with blueberries and I had the cheese snow with poached pears on a sauce of slightly picante peppers. To top it all, Clovis has one of the best wine cellars I have seen which compliment every dish they serve. What an experience again, just superb!
Had a lunch today in this delightful bistro. Away from the main square, in the medieval loop of streets, the bistro offers a quite (albeit more expensive option) to the restaurants elsewhere in the town. The menu was limited but something to suit all tastes and the friendly waiter was most helpful in explaining the dishes to us, in much better English than our French! In the end we opted for the dish of the day - fish pie (albeit presented as a 'ring' of potato/fish) with salad garnish, followed by grilled fruit with ice cream. All very delicious and worth the price of Euro 22/pp - a significant cut above the average meal. Foodies make note......
We spent a pleasant time with nice culinary discoveries (Lamb Trilogy in platter and a very good dessert chocolate) without being particularly surprised. the price of wines with glass is much too expensive for the quality of the wine suggested. Two desserts to choose from. It's little for a star, or even frustrating. the service is pleasant, the charming and decorated place very simply. in conclusion a beautiful address without more with a value for money a little high.
Hello, Long service, mojitos to avoid ice. Despite a table of twelve people with entrance-flat-dessert -apéros, coffee and wine (4 bottles) and a good outfit, no commercial gesture was given, no digestive, no coffee etc. finding it amazing for a restaurant of this pseudo class we asked if we could get 4 digestives offered and it was denied to us !!!!!!!!!! the worst it is that it grows to consumption on the alcohols!!!!!!

reserved terrace table, the reception was charming and attentive. the three products of the card allow to compose a menu for each taste especially with the very precise explanations of the service. all dishes were excellent, a special mention for strawberry/salted caramel dessert. to be recommended without dispute, pleasure assured. wine map (some of which are biodynamic) very interesting.
While on holiday the owner of our studio was able to secure a table for us at very short notice. We were afforded great courtesy both by Julien Bousseau and his staff. The meal was exquisite the sometimes unusual partnering ingredients left us astounded. The experience was not at the sometimes inflated prices charged in less discerning restaurants.
we went with family for a meal during our holidays. the quality of the dishes is at the rendezvous and is worthy of their star. the service is pleasant and the value/price ratio is really correct. We enjoyed the sympathy of the owners and the setting in this small town with undeniable charm.
Sad. Had reserved and forgotten about us. They were "uncled" to a side room where nothing was covered. When you have a star, you expect professionality!
