If you’re looking for a great place to eat near Queen Anne—whether you’re visiting Seattle Center, catching a hockey game or concert at Climate Pledge, or checking out the Space Needle—Co Ba is probably your best bet. The food around here can be pricey and underwhelming, especially near Tourist spots, but Co Ba offers elevated Vietnamese cuisine that really stands out. As a Vietnamese American, I know some might hesitate, thinking "elevated" means less authentic, but frankly, I dislike the stereotype that Vietnamese food has to be cheap or low-end. The food here is tasty, with all the classic dishes you’d expect: pho, rice plates, vermicelli bowls, and banh mi. The banh mi even comes with fr...

Co Ba can comfortably accommodate fairly large groups, offering an atmosphere that’s both cozy and trendy. The menu is impressive, but unfortunately, we encountered a few issues with our order. One guest who identified as vegan was served an appetizer containing dairy. Although they didn’t inquire about every ingredient, they clearly expressed the need for a vegan dish, so it was surprising the waiter allowed them to order the tofu lemongrass banh mi without mentioning that the special sauce contained dairy. Another person asked for the shrimp banh mi without pâté, yet it arrived indistinguishable from the shrimp banh mi with pâté, posing a problem for dietary restrictions. Additionally, the...

For me, the difference between a 4-star and a 5-star restaurant is whether I would travel across city, county, or even state lines just to dine there again. CÔBA was enjoyable, and if I were downtown or near the Space Needle craving Vietnamese food, I would happily return. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to drive across town just to eat here. That said, their Short Rib Pho was impressive; the meat was incredibly tender, and the bone simply fell away. We left feeling pleasantly full! My only minor complaint is that the mojito was a bit too strong and overshadowed the mango flavor, though a strong drink isn’t necessarily a bad thing...

This restaurant is a great spot for tasty Vietnamese food at an excellent price. Personally, I prefer fried spring rolls over crispy rolls, but the papaya salad was very delicious. The portions aren't large, but they are light and flavorful, making it a great option for a lighter meal. I highly recommend trying the Bo Kho; it’s the standout dish with a rich, flavorful beef stew. I even upgraded to zucchini noodles, which were delicious and carb-free—such a fantastic choice! The service was quick and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Book a table now

I enjoyed the food here. The grilled pork bahn mi was good, and the side of soup and fries were tasty too. I like the seasoning and sauce they give for the fries. For appetizers I got the crispy rolls and kimchi calamari. They were both okay, but next time I'd probably try something else. I think I liked the crispy rolls more than the calamari. My friend got the chicken bahn mi which she liked too. I tried the salty lemonade drink which was okay but I probably wouldn't order it again since I preferred plain water.

Service was good, however, sometimes the attention was slow. The food is amazing, all the flavor combine perfectly to have an excellent experience. Vietnamese food is one of my favorites and sometimes is hard to do these food outside Asia. I went twice there while I was visiting Seattle, so yeah, the food was great!! The spring roles are huge (with one order, 4 people can eat just fine). Note: proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination is required to eat at the restaurant.

I try to come here as often as I can when I am in Seattle because the food is excellent and the serving sizes are large. It's also a healthier choice than many alternatives in the area. My go-to orders are the chicken pho (add broccoli, carrots for some vitamins) and the tofu banh mi (comes with fries that are totally unhealthy but also delicious). There's often seating and the staff are wonderful.
