Ordered a dozen pork tamales with red sauce for Christmas Eve dinner. Reheated them and started to dig in. Only to realize that it’s all vegetarian with no sauce after everyone started to eat them. Don’t even think you could call them vegetarian tamales as there was only a couple slices of veggies and mostly masa. Hardly any flavor at all. Tossed the ones we started to eat and kept the rest. Called them after the holiday weekend to let them know and hoping to get replacement tamales. They want us to pay for another dozen so that they can fix the mistake that they made.
The food had potential, but we couldn’t get over the old oil flavor that overpowered it all. also was annoyed when they came up to me and said I owed them an extra $2 because they messed up when ringing me up- and this was after I stuck a $20 in the tip jar.. and obviously before I realized the food was sub-par. The corn in the esquite looked canned too. Super disappointing- but friendly girls working there.
The tacos here are super healthy, delicious, flavorful, and filling for the price. I wouldn’t even go to other latino restaurants in this area because its too good at coco’s! The staff is very nice and fast and knew all the menu very well. I will come back and tell my friends about this gem!

This is an excellent restaurant with outstanding service and delicious food! I recommend trying the pork as your protein choice. I also want to try the soda next time.

This is the best Mexican food I've had in the city so far! The lengua tacos, cabeza burrito, and jamaica agua fresca were all incredible!
