If you are searching for excellent coffee in Huddersfield town centre, look no further! The drinks here are consistently fantastic, and they offer a delicious selection of food items on the menu, as well as tempting treats in the display case at the counter. On a few occasions, I have popped in for a flat white and ended up leaving with a delicious freshly baked cake treat (most recently, a lovely slice of Simnel Cake which was a new experience for me). I used to frequent this place back in 2005 when it was a new and interesting concept. It was nice to have a cigarillo with a coffee late at night, as they used to close at 10pm. However, when I visited today for the first time in over 10 years, I was disappointed to see that nothing had changed. The layout and menu were exactly the same, and even the décor seemed old-fashioned. The chain of coffee shops in West Yorkshire, including this one, were once seen as modern and trendy establishments, but now they are outdated. It's time for this Huddersfield institution to evolve and change in order to stay relevant.
This cafe is possibly the best coffee shop in the UK! When we travel in the UK or abroad, we always search for great places like this, and this place exceeds all expectations. The coffee is great and high quality, the menu is amazing with a wide variety of food options, there is an excellent selection of drinks, the staff is cheerful and friendly, and the interior is cool with good background music. It really doesn't get any better than this.
visited here twice on my 24 hour visit to see my son, the first visit was a flat white and slice of millionaires shortbread which had orange flavouring soooo good 2nd visit was for brunch with a flat white, i had a toasted goats cheese and roasted veg sandwich to die for and could have eaten it again and again

Visited here today for lunch and coffee with my Grandad. I had a cheese,turkey,bacon and cranberry panini and my Grandad had a bacon and avocado salad. We both loved the food and it was very reasonably priced. Great little place and good atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!
Definitely my favourite place to get coffee in Huddersfield town centre, great coffee and friendly staff.The only advice I’d give is to lower the level of the music a little bit downstairs and seats could be a bit comfier.
pre-covid this was part of my morning ritual before work unfortunately they open too late for me now but in my opimion this is the best coffee in huddersfield by far love it
Best coffee in england! Good atmosphere and everything tastes good. It is slightly pricey but worth it because the wuality of the coffee is exceptional
