great German food! we went to the German village while in columbus, as we loved German eating and we were not disappointed. After we had read some reviews, we had the pleasure that it had a huge waiting time. I cannot imagine why it is so much more popular than valter’s. we loved our food and our drinks. the service was amazing and we did not have to wait for a table. if they want good German cuisine, this is the place to go! side note, it will not be safe everywhere great reviews, as the rating is so low here. eating, drinks and service were the best notch.
these are some of my favorite things: the matthorn, french onion soup, jagermeister wings, belgian waffle, beer cheese soup, original reuben. taste them with their colsh or pilsner, embellish them with their chocolate dome dessert (not the right name.) never had a bad (or even mediocre) eating. when they visit columbus, it is a must. if they live in columbus, they should be happy to have valters always.
I've visited for brunch and lunch at this point, and both were phenomenal. The service on both occasions was solid, but the food really stands out. The breakfast has with the house-made corned beef is among the best in the city. The location is easy to get to, and they have a few parking spots to themselves; a rarity in this area. Highly recommend dining here if you're in the area.
Love Valters. Great breakfast. Great bloodies. Great service. Great atmosphere. The menu is varied, the portions are spot-on. Everything we have tried has been simply amazing. A true gem!

we went to the brunch to valter – eating was fantastic. it was our first time in this historic ambiente with rustic elegance. we want to return with friends and family.
Had a wonderful brunch at Valter's. The place was very busy, so service was a bit slow, but the food was superb! I look forward to returning.
