We drove from Terre Haute to dine at the restaurant today. The staff there were very friendly, but the portions were disappointingly small, and I left feeling hungry. I paid $10 for a fried steak that was about the size of a hamburger, accompanied by just two small servings of potatoes. There were no sides like bread or anything else. I finished my meal in just two minutes. It was very disappointing because I really liked the ambiance of the place, and as I mentioned, the people were very nice. However, it’s frustrating to leave a restaurant still feeling hungry and having to find something else to eat.
You might see this as another loaded cheese fries, but this here is the closest thing to @courtneyskitchen1 big brothers cheese fries. You see @jenkocolowski and I cried because for the first time since Courtney's closed we have found something that reminded us of it and the joy that came with it. For us getting an order of those with sweet tea would be the thing to do when you just needed a snack, sit down and a conversation. Thank you to #comarcafe
at the first entering this caffe, it felt secretly and comfortable how a small city cafe should feel. the floors looked immaculate and the employees cleared the tables quickly when it was the lunch hour. the personal was so nice and attentive. we enjoyed our meal times and the green beans were well seasoned – not the taste of the dose. the sauce above the meat store. and the chicken steak was super delicious. we will return.
A delightful surprise in this small town! The staff were very friendly, and the food was fantastic. I'm definitely planning to return, although I want to try a few more places first since it didn’t quite reach a perfect 5 for me. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

So good!It was a tough choice, but we went with the all day breakfast menu.I recommend the “Haystack” with fried potatoes! My sons pancake was bigger than his head.Owner is incredibly welcoming and the staff were fantastic.Great atmosphere!We will be back!
When you're around Parke County, this is a great place to stop in at. The service is prompt and attentive. Good place to being the family and kids. Highly recommend this place as you take a break from visiting some of the nearby covered bridges.
My family and I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The fries were amazing! Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
